On December 9th, our loving Partner, Dad & Papaw, Joe Don Giles, went home at the age of 77. Joe was born on June 21, 1941 in Greenville, Texas to Frances & VJ Giles. He graduated from Irving High School in 1959. He built a successful stone and masonry business in Plano, TX.

Joe was a passionate, spirited person who loved laughing and having fun. He was happiest when he was watching/playing golf, watching the Dallas Cowboys and ANYTHING rodeo. He loved his family passionately and was always there to make them happy. His wonderful lifelong friends run a close second in his heart. He had a quick wit, strong opinions, not a shy bone in his body, and he had a wonderful knack of working a room. He left behind a VERY strong family and will be remembered and cherished by all.

Joe is survived by his partner, Beth Giles, Sisters: Beth Gibson (Troy) & Vickie James (Ronnie), Brother: Jeff Smith. Daughters: Kelly Bunievatz (Chris), Kim Malsbury (George), Brandi Dunks (Brian), Step-Sons: Chad Mosley (Tami) & Matt Mosley. He was preceded in death by Mother, Frances Smith & Father VJ Giles. Sisters Mary Francis and Judy Coomer Owens, & Brother Jay Smith

Services will be held at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, 4001 Custer Rd, Plano, TX
