Johnnie Maxine Lambert, 75, of Wylie passed away at Methodist Renner Hospital in Richardson on May 4, 2020. Maxine was born in Wylie on October 3, 1944.  Her parents are the late John and Daisy (Durst) Bradley.   Maxine grew up in Wylie and married Jimmy Carl Lambert in Wylie on December 1, 1973.  Maxine and Jimmy lived in Wylie and raised their family here. She was a loving wife and mother.

Maxine is survived by her husband of 46 years Jimmy Lambert of Wylie; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Travis and Christi Lambert of Alto, and daughter, Melina Lynn Hunt of Wylie; two sisters, Joan and Wanda; 4 brothers, Bobby, Roy, Jr., and Richard and her 4 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Daisey Durst and a grandson, Carson James Hunt.

There will be a visitation on Friday, May 7, 2020 from Noon until 3:00 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  The graveside will begin at 3:00 P.M. at the Wylie Cemetery with Rev. Tommie Diane Lanier officiating.

Due to COVID-19 the requirements of maximum occupancy only 25 people will be allowed into the Chapel at one time.
