Joseph Douglas Kubon, 85, of Wylie passed away on Saturday July 15.  Joseph was born October 30, 1937 in Milo, Missouri.  His parents are the late Joseph Gilbert Kubon and Mary Louise (Perdue) Kubon. After graduating high school he joined the Air Force. After Joseph was honorably discharged he went on to college and earned his degree as an engineer specializing in drafting.

Joseph married Melba "Darlene" Long on July 23, 1983 in Wylie.  He was a member of the Methodist faith.

Surviving Joseph, is his wife of almost 40 years, Darlene Kubon of Wylie: daughter Renee' White of Josephine: and Carol Jo Kubon of Vinton, Louisiana and his 4 precious grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A chapel service will be held on Tuesday July 18, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at the Kreymer Cemetery. Brother A.L. Draper will officiate.
