Joyce LaVeta Ogden, 74, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Richardson Methodist Hospital. Joyce was born on September 29, 1943 to R. C. Miller and Cecilia Johnson Miller. She had worked in food service for Garland ISD.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Karen Ogden, Lajuana McCracken and husband Paul and LaRae Ogden and 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Cranston Ray Ogden and daughter Annette Clark.

Visitation for Joyce will be held at Allen Funeral Home on Friday July 13, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.  Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Minister Ricky Jenkins will officiate.  Joyce will be laid to rest at Millwood Cemetery in Lavon, Texas following the funeral service.
