Joyce LaDean Russell (Dean)  Age 81  passed away at her home in Wylie, Texas

Surrounded by family as she went to the arms of Jesus . She was born in West , Texas

to her late parents Johnny and Clara Johnson on November 27, 1938. Joyce was

Married to William L Russell in Emory , Texas May 26, 1956.

She was a Christian woman of faith , a faithful Prayer warrior .

She an encouragement to others by sending cards , text and jokes to others .

She crocheted, colored and loved to sing. She wanted everyone to get along

And to know Jesus , she loved family and treated everyone special

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed .

She is survived by her sister Janelle Cantrell and husband Veldon of Celina ,Texas

Brother Frank Johnson and wife Beth of Emory, Texas and her children Barbara

Meek and husband Danny of Wylie Texas , Bobby Russell of Wylie Texas  , Sherri Fowler and husband

Farley of Blue Ridge  Texas , Terri Afdahl and Mike of Pecan Gap ,  Texas Nancy Kile and husband Sidney of Emory, Tx . Grandchildren : Cheryl Messner  and Michael , Kristi Madry and husband Clay

Charity Meek, Chasity Nicholson and Michael, Trenon Fowler and fiancé Lisa Basham , Tanner Fowler and  Jessica

Chad Wedeking and Franzi , Dustin Wedeking and Ashley, Kaitlin Kile and Jace

19 great grandchildren, many cousins,  nieces, nephews and friends .

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Johnny and Clara Johnson, her husband Bill Russell and great grandson Carter Cash  Weddle ,Brothers : Doyle  Johnson , T.C Johnson, Charles Johnson , William Johnson and sister Elwanda Mc Alpin

Services will be : Visitation will be at Smyrna  Church 439 County Road 1308

Emory Texas  75440  from 1:00-2:30 on Thursday, September 10, 2020.  Funeral services directly following at 2:30.  Flowers can be ordered through Wylie Flower Shop at 972-442-5837
