Judith "Judy" Mae Rhoades, 79, of Murphy passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Wylie.  Judy was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1940 in Ottumwa, Iowa to her late parents, Howard Frank and Adda Mae (Butler) Davis. She had worked in the data services industry as a secretary.  She married Donald Richard Rhoades on July 11, 1958 in Garland, Texas. Judy was a member of the Lavon Assembly of God Church.

Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Don Rhoades of Murphy, daughter, Connie Jean Rhoades of Van Alstyne, sons, Richard Todd Rhoades and his wife Vickie of Mesquite and Rodney Don Rhoades and wife Jill of Garland; brothers, Frank Joe Davis and his wife Brenda of Caddo Mills; Howard Jaye Davis of Garland; sister Gloria Jean Fitzgerald and husband Don of Rockwall; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Monday, October 28, 2019 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home.  Funeral services are Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God Church in Lavon.  Burial will be at the Wylie Cemetery.
