Julia Mae Gilbert

September 4, 1941 – January 6, 2022

Julia Mae Gilbert, 80, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.  She was the sunshine of our lives.  She will always be remembered as a loving "grannie, mother, daughter, sister, and friend"

Julia was born on September 4, 1941 in SiouxCity Iowa to parents Frank and Betty Moore.  She was blessed with 3 children Cheryl Adam and husband Robert, Clifford Janson and wife Julie and Ben Janson and wife Christine and step-son, Patrick Gilbert and wife Kristen. She also leaves behind a legacy of 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Julie will also be remembered by her numerous friends.

Her greatest achievement was her love and devotion to others.  She instilled in us to do our best and was always there to applaud our accomplishments.  She was a hard worker and always served others with a smile and kind word.  We will always carry her memory in our hearts.

Julia's memorial service will be held at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
