Kara Lee Webb, age 58, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on November 8, 2023 after a three year long battle with lung cancer. Kara was born on December 17, 1964, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Alfred E Hall and Joyce Lorraine Guldborg. Her family moved from Minnesota to Dallas, Texas when she was in elementary school. She graduated from Richardson High School in 1983.

On December 13, 1986, Kara married Scott Webb in St. George, Utah. Although they later divorced, they had three children who were her whole world: Alicia, Kyle, and Derek.

Kara graduated in 1989 from Texas Woman's University with a bachelors of science degree in dental hygiene. She had a fulfilling career as a dental hygienist. She was known for her thoroughness, strong work ethic, and dedication to her patients' oral health. She had multiple patients who refused to have anyone but her clean their teeth.

Outside of work, Kara had a variety of interests and hobbies. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, gardening, doing crossword puzzles and reading/listening to audiobooks. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, creating lasting memories and sharing laughter together.

Kara was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served selflessly in many different capacities. She especially loved working with the young women in the church. She relied heavily on Jesus Christ to sustain her as she balanced her career, her role as a single mom, her friendships and her church responsibilities. Kara's unwavering faith during the challenges that came throughout her life was an inspiration to countless numbers of people. During this final challenge, this cancer journey, she would frequently say "God's got a plan!"

Kara was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. To have her as a part of your life was an honor. She is survived by her children: Alicia (Jeff) Whitaker of Wylie, TX; Kyle (Amber) Webb of Bakersfield, CA; Derek (Montana) Webb of Sandy, UT; grandchildren: Savannah, Austin, & Madison Whitaker, Holland Webb, and Stetson Webb; siblings: Marina Hall, Lance (Phoebe) Hall, Natalie Marstella, Milan (Connie) Hall, and Nathan (Cristi) Hall; mother: Joyce Hall. Kara was preceded in death by her father Alfred Hall, her sister Teresa Bement, and her sister-in-law Victoria Hall.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 12th, from 6-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, located at 508 Masters Ave in Wylie, Texas. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 13th, at 1 PM at the Wylie LDS chapel, located at 400 N Sanden Blvd, Wylie, Texas 75098.
