Karen Rush passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025.  She was born on June 26, 1939 in Dallas, TX to Frank and Nadine Hines.  Karen was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.  She attended North Dallas High School and enjoyed a successful real estate career.   Karen was an avid runner and prioritized health and fitness.  In later life, she served as a caregiver for the elderly and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Hines, and her niece, Michele Mullins.  Karen is survived by her sons, Tommy Rush and Kirk (Susan) Rush; her grandchildren, Chelsea Alexandra Clark (Ian) and Tyler Rush; her brother, Bill Hines; sister Martha Mullins; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Karen was known for her wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and radiant smile.  She filled our lives with love and laughter.  She was always up for an adventure and always had a good time.  She was dearly loved and will be tremendously missed.

Celebration of Life will be at her son's House.
