Karin Christine Slusher was born May 31, 1945 in Pasadena, CA.  Karin passed away peacefully on May 9, 2024 at home in Coleman, TX with her family surrounding her bedside, ending her long battle with Alzheimer's.

Karin is proceeded in death by her parents, Harold and Jacque Carter and her son Orry.

Karin is survived by Jeff, her loving husband of 40 years, her sister Susan and brother Craig.  Her children - Robin, Renee, Vicki, Darren & Cody, 11 grandchildren – John, Ian, Miranda, Nathan, Shelbie, Kadence, Gemma, Thea & Kimber and 2 great-grandchildren – Ryan & Ryder.

Karin loved music, loved to dance (and was pretty good at it).  She studied ballet & dance in her younger years.  She loved gardening.  Her favorite flowers were Orchids, Gara & Texas Blue Bonnets.  She loved to road-trip and many summers, she & her youngest son Cody would drive out west and spend time with her daughters in California & Oregon.  She LOVED dogs, more than most!  At one time, she had 5 "large" dogs in the home.  She would do just about anything for her dogs.
