Kathleen Moore was born to Matlon and Bonnie Martin in 1924, in Wylie, Texas.  She was a sister to Dorothy, Kenneth, and Betty Ann, all who preceded her in death. Kathleen was married to Harroun Fay Moore in 1942, and was married to him for 64 years until his death in 2006. She is survived by her nephews Chris Taylor and Chuck Taylor along with their wives, children and grandchildren.

Kathleen live her whole life in Wylie and was very involved in her community. She was a member of the First Christian Church.  She was a founder, coordinator and volunteer at the Wylie Christian Care Center since its start in 1987, and helped care for the benevolent needs of the people in the Wylie area through her work there.  She also helped oversee the Wylie Cemetery as secretary for many years.

Kathleen was a cake maker and decorator connoisseur, and she shared this talent and passion with her friends, family, and various organizations within the community. She had an incredible green thumb and enjoyed nurturing plants and flowers in her personal green house, flower beds, and pots spread around their property. Kathleen also enjoyed oil painting and created many landscape , still life, and floral paintings.

Kathleen lived a life of service and sacrifice, always giving of her time and resources to her family, friends, and community. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.
