Kevin Ray Swaim was born on Wednesday, December 20, 1955 in Ottumwa, Iowa.  He went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2018 in Dallas, Texas surrounded by his loving family.  Prior to his illness Kevin was in the construction business. He married Betty, his wife of 33 years, on August 16, 1985 in Rockwall, Texas.

Kevin leaves behind his wife, Betty Swaim of Farmersville, children, Aric Hurt and wife Trisha of Euless, Texas; Ami Swaim Campbell and husband Wesley of Lewisville, Texas and Brandon Dean Cook and wife Misty of Farmersville, Texas: his sister, Susan Medlin and husband David, 10 grandchildren, Morgan, Diane, Preston, Brian, Zachary, Miranda, Gavin, Tanner, Tristyn, and Bentlee, 1 great grand baby on the way, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by parents, Donald Ray Swaim and Beverly Joyce (Biggs) Swaim and 4 brothers, Pete, Ronnie, Gregory, and Donny.

A memorial service celebrating Kevin's life will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
