Kyoyon Doucette, loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother passed away on January 24th, 2021

Kyoyon is survived by her husband, Bob Doucette; her brother, Kyochin and his wife Chung`ja; her children, Carolann and husband Scott, Jeffery, David, and Linda; her niece's Sue and Grace and nephew Eddie and  Jong; her grandchildren, Robert and his wife Diana, Nathaniel,
Misty, Megan, Victoria, Alex ,and Annabell; her great-grandchildren, Nolan, Jayden, Gavin, Mina, Keilien, Noah, Paislee, Jonathan, Arieson, and Kade

She is predeceased by her brother Kyotae Yi; and her son Tom Doucette

Kyoyon was born in Busan, South Korea on October 26, 1938.
She met her husband Bob Doucette during the Korean war, when they fell in love at first sight.
Regardless of the language barrier they were in love and got married on July 1st , 1964.

Kyoyon was a devoted mother and a prolific chef, nicknamed The Magic Chef.
She would cook with all her heart and her food reflected just that.
She always made sure everyone would have enough to eat and would call you out of the blue to come pick up your kimchi she freshly prepared.
Gardening was also a passion of hers. Planting pepper, cabbage, and many other wonderful things.
She will be greatly missed, but our hearts are at peace knowing she is happy and with her son Tom and brother Kyotae up in heaven smiling down and watching over us.
