Larry W. Johnston, age 74, of McKinney, TX, passed away Dec. 15, 2024.

He was a graduate of Field Kindley High School and The University of Houston.

Larry had many talents, he was an accomplished singer and was always willing to lend that talent when a special occasion arose. He had many friends during his life span. He never met a stranger.

He was very active in his synagogue Beth Torah. His faith was very important to him.

He was well loved.

He was preceded in death by his true love, Esther Johnston, parents, Donald and Rozena Jean Johnston; grandparents, Wilford Thomas Hand and Ethel Virginia Chatham, William Floyd Johnston and Florence Ruby Rogers. He is survived by his sons, David Johnston (Lee Anne) of McKinney, Texas; Daniel Johnston (Richelle) of Rosemount, Minn.; grandson, and center of his world, Logan; brother, Richard Johnston of Houston, Texas; sisters, Donna Blair of Harker Heights, Texas and Susan Wood of League City, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
