January 20th 1990, Lauren Kelaine Riley was born to Michael Dion and Shannon Kelaine Riley and passed away March 3rd 2023 with family by her side. Lauren's memory lives on with her survivors father Michael Riley and stepmom Lili; sisters Amber McCleveland, Rebecca Butler, and Kathryn Riley; brother in-laws Elliott McCleveland and Ken Butler; nephews Elijah, Joseph, Isaac, Cameron, and Kaleb; grandparents Linda and Ken Caudill; and dogs Harley and Dak.

She loved strong and hard. Whether it be her dogs, her job, the Dallas Cowboys, or her loved ones; passion colored her every action.

As a younger woman, she possessed a variety of skills. Her artwork amazed and her athletic abilities earned her a trip to Europe to play soccer. She also graduated from Rowlett High School with honors. In addition, she grew an impressive affinity for cooking. Breads, cakes, and (despite being a vegetarian most of her life) even stuffed chicken cooked with love. When cooking and baking, all that mattered to her was the love served with every slice. This transferred to her always-welcomed-and-available job at Texas Roadhouse. During her time as a waitress and hostess, Lauren found a talent for working with others and a joy for helping others ensure their necessities. This then led to a career in property management and secretarial work, which like everything else, she put her all into.

Just like everyone else, Lauren deserved love & respect & a long life. All of her survivors deserved a long life with Lauren. At only 33 years old, she has left us, but she will not be forgotten. She will live on in each of her loved ones In addition, Lauren may now be reunited with her long-missed mother Shannon.

As a way to honor Lauren's memory, please, everyday make sure to care for and love yourself as well as to care for and love each other.

A service will be held at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Allen Stroud.  Lauren will be laid to rest at Wylie Cemetery.
