Laurie lost her fight to cancer on May 24, 2018 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born a premature baby girl at 2lbs 5ozs. She was a fighter then and when she fought her cancer. She had several things she wanted to do before God called her home. And the most important thing to her was to go fishing with her brother Jeremiah. It took everything she had to accomplish that feat, but she did it.
Laurie was a graduate of Treasure Lake High School in Indiahoma, Ok. in 1996. And then came back to Texas to work in Retail and became a Store Manager.
She has 2 son's. Jacob David Bennett and Gavin Leighton Albritton. She was married to Jim Barnwell for 10yrs. Later they divorced due to the necessity of help for her cancer treatments. But Jim stayed by her side from the first onset of her cancer all the way to the end.They loved each other to the end.
We will all miss our precious Laurie. But I know that we will see her again. And when we do, we will never be separated again.
