Lola Shirlene Rogers, 82, left this earthly life on April 22, 2023 to go home home to her heavenly Father.  She had been born January 23, 1941 in McKinney Texas.  Lola married Billy Jack Rogers in McKinney Texas on November 23, 1956 and they had a son, Billie W. Rogers.  Lola ran a janitorial business.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church Garland.

She is survived by her son Billie Roger of Garland, her sister Bonnie Tomlinson also of Garland and niece, Carrie Boswell.  She is preceded in death by parents John and  Lola (Foster) Kinser and husband Billy Jack Rogers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral is Wednesday, April 26, 2023  also at Allen Funeral Home. Dr. Greg Ammons will officiate. Lola's burial will take place after the funeral at the Kreymer Cemetery.
