Margaret Marie Harty, 91, passed away at her residence in Murphy on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.  Margaret was born on November 23, 1928 in Jersey City, New Jersey.  Her parents were the late James and Mary (Millon) Woods. She had been a receptionist in a dental office before retiring.  She was married to Thomas Francis Harty on December 11, 1947.  Thomas preceded her in death.  Margaret was of the Catholic faith.

Margaret leaves behind two sons, John F. Harty of San Antonio and Mark Harty of Murphy; and 3 grandchildren.  Margaret was preceded in death by parents, husband, and a son, Thomas F. Harty, Jr.

The family will have a visitation on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 11:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  A service for Margaret will be at 1:30 P.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tony Densmore officiating. Her interment will be on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 9:15 A.M. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
