Margaret Sue Simmons, 84, of Wylie, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Wylie, Texas.  She was born at home in Blue Ridge, Texas on Thursday, September 19, 1935 to parents George Harroll  and Julia Belle (Newell) White.

Sue's family moved to Wylie where Sue was raised.  She graduated from Wylie High School. Sue met Bobby E. Simmons and they married on June 4, 1955 in Wylie, Texas. Sue was a housewife, neighbor and friend. She and her neighbors on Hilltop would sit out on Chessie Allen's driveway together in the summer evenings and visit.  Sue was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Sue is survived by brothers, Harroll Dwayne White of Wylie and Billy Wayne "Chipper" White and wife Carolyn of Ben Wheeler, Texas; and brother-in-law, Bob Petchulat.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.  Sue is preceded in death by parents George Harroll  and Julia Belle (Newell) White; husband, Bobby E. Simmons; and sister, Bonnie Irene Petchulat.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at the Wylie, Cemetery.  Dr. A. L. Draper will officiate.
