Maria Deases James, 81, of Fate, TX, peacefully passed away on January 15 ^th , 2021 in Rockwall, TX.

Maria was born on October 11 ^th , 1939 to Arturo and Frances Deases in Sinton, Texas.

Maria was predeceased by her parents, Arturo and Frances Deases, her brother Jesse Deases, and her sister Delores Cordova. She is survived by sisters Julia Lopez, Betty O'Neal, Virginia Casanova, Frances Lopez, and Norma Deases,brothers Arturo Deases, Jr. and David Deases, her six children, JoAnn Hernandez of Port Arthur, TX, Nancy Duckins of Thornton, CO, John Diaz of Wylie, TX, Debra Diaz of Fate, TX, Joseph Diaz of Thornton, CO, and Christina Eaton of Royse City, TX, her ten grandchildren, her four great-grandchildren, and her one great-great-grandchild.
