Marilyn Kay Clemmons, 74, passed away in Dallas on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Marilyn was born on Wednesday, November 20, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.   Her parents are the late Robert Howard Smith and Edith Frances (Barnes) Smith.  Marilyn had retired from EDS in Plano where she was a business analyst.  After retiring from EDS Marilyn worked part-time for Texas Dollar Pawn. She was a member of FBC - Lavon.

Surviving her is her daughter and son-in-law, Sara Lisa Avrit and John Avirit. She was also survived by her wonderful legacy of her three grandchildren; Bailie, Seth and Jacob Avrit and her one great grandson, Grant Avirit.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  Her funeral service will be Friday August 20, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Clint Bratcher will officiate.
