Mary Lou Dee McKinney was born on July 16, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee to parents Julius L. D. Maples and Ethel Lou Maples.
She worked for the IRS as an Revenue Officer. Mary had married Kenneth B. McKinney on October 24, 1975 in South Haven, Mississippi.
Mary is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth B. McKinney of Wylie, Texas; her daughters, Patricia Daniels Conkle of Wylie, Wanda Daniels Mondy of Wylie and Colette McKinney Rogers also of Wylie; her brother, Julius Earl Maples of Memphis, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home. A celebration of Mary's life will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dell Wesley will officiate. Mary will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Lavon, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the SPCA in Mary's name. This was a cause and organization very close to Mary's heart.
