Ross, Mary Margaret Williams of Wylie age 91, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Wylie, United Methodist Church, 1401 Country Club Rd., Wylie. Internment immediately following the service at Wylie cemetery 1610 E. Oak St., Wylie.

The family will receive visitors 6-8PM Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Allen funeral home in Wylie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wylie United Methodist Church in Mary's memory.

Mary was born in Elizabeth Louisiana on August 22, 1931, daughter of the late I.B. and Ella Mae (Porcher) Williams. After leaving home, she moved to Dallas where she met and married Ken Ross. They wed in 1952 and raised three children. Mary ran the office for the family business until she retired in 2015. Mary was a member of the Wylie United Methodist Church and enjoyed antiquing and going to garage sales. Her greatest passion in life was serving the Lord.

Mary is survived by three children, Jo Anne Ross, Daniel Ross (Laurie) and John L. Ross (Susan), three grandchildren, John Ross, Jennifer Smith (Curtis) and Katie Sexton. She had five great grandchildren, Sophia, Mia, and Gianna Ross, Josh and Madelyn Smith. A sister Ann Frears and sister-in-law Pat Simmons. She is preceded in death by her parents I.B. and Ella Mae Williams, her husband Ken Ross and brother John B. Williams.

Mary's family would like to thank all of her special friends, church family, her neighbors, and employees of Ken Ross Inc.
