On August 19, 2021, Matthew Scott Farokhrouz passed away just 10 days short of his 33 ^rd birthday.  He was born August 29, 1988 and raised in Plano, Texas. A premature baby, he arrived 8 weeks early and instantly had a strong will to live. Even after Wilson's Disease took over his body, he was a fighter and never lost that will to live.

Matthew was lovable, hardworking, courageous, and an all around good person. He loved kids, animals and cars and had hoped to become a 2 ^nd grade teacher. In high school, he was involved in the marching band as part of the drum line and was a Golden Girls escort at Plano East Senior High School.

He is survived by his Mom, Julie McKinney and Aurora McKinney, his Dad, Bahram Farokhrouz and Lisa Farokrouz, Sister, Maria (Christine) Burkett and Jon Burkett, Niece, Madison Burkett, Stepfather Michael W. Jackson and Cindy Kosley, Grandmothers Ghodsieh Alizadeh and Mary Daugherty, Grandfather Royce Daugherty and Tammy Daugherty, 5 uncles, 4 aunts and 7 cousins.

His family would like to thank the staff at McKinney Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for being kind, patient and giving him such good care.

Matthew touched the lives of everyone that came into his life and always had a positive attitude about living. He will be deeply missed by everyone that had the honor of knowing him.  He was truly a Gift from God.

A Celebration of Matthew's life will be on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel
