Michael Scott Snell, Jr was born in Canton, Ohio on September 3, 1973. He is the son of Michael Scott Snell, Sr. and the late Janet Snell.

After completing his last year of elementary school, Scott moved to Dallas to join his mother and brother after living with his grandmother, the late MaeRoy Lowe, in Canton, OH. He spent summers in Canton with his dad. Scott played football at Richardson Junior High School and Berkner High School. He LOVED football. It was his passion and his joy. He never missed a single Cleveland Browns football game. He worked for the North Texas Tollway Authority for 15 years, He then worked at Marion Elementary & Story Elementary in Allen ISD for 6 years until he was not able to work anymore. He also was a devoted husband and full-time super dad which he loved.

Scott was a passionate person. He was a sports fanatic especially when it came to any Cleveland team, Ohio State and LeBron James. He could talk sports for hours on end and would never tire of it.

Scott also LOVED his family, especially his daughters. Scott was funny, loud, goofy and lovable. He had the gift of gab and loved making friends anywhere he went. He was always ready to have a Strong Island or a shot of Fireball and good conversation.

Scott is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce, and his precious daughters, Malaika & Mariah (Anna, TX); his father, Michael Snell, Sr and his stepmother, Deborah Snell (Canton, OH); his mother-in-law, Josefina Angustia and his father-in-law, Hamlin Angustia (Anna, TX); his sisters, Latoya Snell (Columbus, OH), Yolanda Torrance (Akron, OH), Alyssa (Delano) Means (Canton, OH), Yolanda Snell (Atlanta, GA);  his brothers, Darren Lowe, Terrance Snell (Columbus, OH); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fellow sports fans.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Janet Lowe;  his grandmothers,  MaeRoy Lowe and Elvira Snell;  his grandfathers, Hartford Lowe and Roy Snell; his sister, Shawntey Snell; his aunt, Barbara Freeman; his uncle, David Freeman; his brother, Curtis Snell; his cousin, David Lowe; and his best friend, Vicktor Cartwright.
