Minnie Allen Reinhardt of Garnet Hill Nursing Home in Wylie TX. passed away at 5:30 a.m. Monday February 8, 2021 at Baylor Scott and White - Lake Point Hospital in Rowlett, TX.

Minnie was born March 10, 1928 in Atoka County Oklahoma to Dewey and Nancy Sharp. She was married to Nathan Levi Allen in or about 1946. They lived on a farm near Eldorado Oklahoma until N.L.'s death in 1972. They had one child, a son Nathan Daniel Allen born May 18, 1947.

After N.L.'s death she married Locke Reinhardt in 1975. She and Locke moved to Abilene TX where she worked at theAbilene State School and was a care giver to a few people in and around Abilene. Locke passed away in 1981 and Minnie moved to Quanah TX. She lived in Quanah for several years and had lots of friends there. Minnie moved to Altus, Oklahoma to be near her son after he had a stroke and lived with him and his wife for awhile then was admitted to Plantation Village Nursing Home in Altus. When her son passed in 2012, she came to Wylie TX to stay with family, She was admitted to Rowlett Nursing Home and then to Garnet Hill Nursing Home in Wylie August 14,2012

Minnie was a feisty little woman, she liked to joke and make people laugh, she didn't go in for fancy dress or fancy hair dos, she liked simple things and was very frugal. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, country music, funny tv shows, but most of all she enjoyed being with loved ones. She read her Bible regularly, thanked God for all he did for her, and attended Church whenever possible. Minnie was loving and kind. We laughed together and cried together, enjoyed each other's company whenever possible. She was loved very much and she will be greatly missed by some and remembered by many.

Preceding her in death were: father: Dewey Daniel Sharp, mother: Nancy Sharp, husband: N.L. Allen, husband: Locke Reinhardt, son: Nathan Daniel Allen, grandson: Bill Allen, 3 sisters, Virgie Gaddis, Mae Blagg, and Christine Belcher; 2 brothers: Joe L. Sharp and William D Sharp, and a niece Patricia Mackey.

Minnie is survived by her grandson: Loren "Bud" Allen and wife Lena, grandaughter-in-law: Gina Allen. 4 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, her sister, Emmaline  Hawkins,  6 nieces and 6 nephews and  multiple great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held in the Eldorado Oklahoma Cemetery in Altus on Friday February 12, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
