Misao Jones of Wylie passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Wylie at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 14 days.  Misao was born in Japan on Wednesday, March 15, 1933.  Her parents are the late Gam Loca and Yoshi Sato.  Misao married William "Bill" B. Jones in Japan, December 1955. Misao and Bill moved to Lavon where they raised their family. She had worked for Walmart where she was a sales associate. Misao was a long time member of the First Baptist - Lavon.

Surviving Misao are her four children and their spouses; Leroy and Anna Jones of Farmersville, Jackie and Thomas Powell of Wylie, Chris and Nanette Jones of Nevada and Dennis and Roxanna Jones of McKinney; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Jenita and Bobby Ballew of Wylie and Mamie Redd of Farmersville; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  She's preceded in death by parents, Gam Loca and Yoshi Sato and husband, Bill Jones.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home.  The funeral is Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist - Lavon Church.  Rev. Clint Bratcher is officiating.  Misao will be laid to rest in the Thompson Cemetery.
