Morris Melton Ripple, 92, of Wylie went home to his Lord on Tuesday January 4, 2022.  He was born on Tuesday June 17, 1929 to parents William Henry and Myrtle (Wolfe) Ripple in the small west Texas town of of Girard, Texas.  Morris went into the United States Navy and serviced in the Korean Conflict.  After returning from the service he married Frances Gail Jackson on December 30, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Morris was trained as an electrical engineer and did that type of work until he retired.  He was a member of the FBW,

Surviving Morris is his wife of 69 years, Gail Ripple; daughter, :Lalanii Poteet; sons, Ronald Dwayne Ripple, William Orville Ripple, and Ralph Morris Ripple; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was proceeded in death by his parents and son Troy Eugene Ripple.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 10, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Allen Funeral Home.  His service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. A.L. Draper officiating.  The interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Lavon.
