Jackie Mozelle Wilson, 79. passed away following a lengthy illness on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Celina, Texas.  She was born in McKinney on June 30, 1942 to Hulen Orbin and Lois (Watkins) Riley.  Mozelle married Dewayne Wilson on July 9, 1960 in Garland, Texas.  Mozelle had retired from Leightner's Electronics where she was a Line Lady and was also  a wife and mother. She joined the Baptist Church - Wylie where she and Dewayne brought their children.  Mozelle was active in the church in the Silver Cords a senior choir that traveled to provide programs at many other churchs.  She was also part of the Food Group preparing food for the Happy Circle and she enjoyed traveling with the group going to many places like Branson to enjoy the music shows there.

Mozelle leaves behind her family that she was so proud of, children, Larry Dewayne Wilson and wife Tammi of Princeton, Leslie Doyle Wilson and wife Karen of Princeton, Lori Deane Harris of Anna; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles Orbin Riley of Howe, Rancy Bence Riley and wife Cathy of Leonard, and Paula Dickerson of Pflugerville.  She also leaves behind the shining lights in her life, 7 grandchildren, Joey Wilson, Jonathan Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, Katy Wilson, Koy Harris and Kallie Harris; and 10 great-grandchildren.  Mozelle was preceded in death by her parents, Hulen and Lois Riley and her husband Dewayne Wilson.

Visitation will be held  on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  Her funeral service will be Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at FBC - Wylie in the Draper Chapel.  Dr. A. L. Draper and Rev. Allen Stroud will officiate.  Mozelle will be laid to rest at Wilson Chapel Cemetery next to Dewayne.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer Foundation in Mozelle's memory.
