Norman Maurice Nash (August 29, 1935 - January 13, 2024) Norman "Norm" Maurice Nash, 88 was born in Dallas, Texas in 1935 to L. Ruth Letcher Nash and Herschel Herman Nash. He loved flying model airplanes, loved reading and traveling the world. Norm graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, Dallas, TX in 1952. Norm was in the Navy reserves from 1953-1961. He worked for Texas Instruments as an Engineering Technician for 44 years. Norm loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed greatly, but his family rejoices knowing that he is with the Lord. Norm is preceded in death by his parents, Herschell Nash and L. Ruth Letcher; siblings, Betty R. Lockett and Marilyn Ham; son James Mark Nash and daughter Lana Thomas; daughter-in-law Corrine S. Nash. Norm is survived by his wife Delores; his younger brother W. Robert Nash; his children, son R. Timothy Nash, daughter Elizabeth A. Matney and husband Russ; stepchildren John Rhodes and wife Kasey, Chri Mount and husband Houston. Grandchildren, Chris Thomas, Kim Kimberly and husband Jay, Crystal Thomas, Nels Nash and wife Mallory, Melissa Nash, Shelby Carnefix and husband Zach, Jenna Meads and husband Andrew, Blake Matney, Bradley Matney; step grandchildren Michael Mount, Paige Leibert, Donovan Martin, Kimberly Chamiok, Salena Chapman, Reese Rhodes and Ryan Rhodes; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren Funeral service for Norm will be held at 2 p.m. January 18, 2024, Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Tx with Reverend Keith Matney officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org
