Oran Keith Potter was dearly loved by his family and friends. He loved the Lord and lived a life filled with love, faith, family, and meaningful service to others. He was married to the love of his life, Carol Potter, for 58 years and they lived in Dallas, TX; Plano, TX and San Angelo, TX, where they raised their four children. He loved cars and worked as an auto mechanic for most of his career until he started his own chauffeur business, Potter Sedans, for which he was so proud and loved so much.

He passed away at his home in Wylie, Texas and went to see our Lord and Savior on July 27, 2026, at the age of 81. He was born to his parents Donald & Ada Potter on June 21, 1945, in Gillette, Wyoming. He is survived by his Wife Carol Potter of Wylie, Texas, Children; Teresa Planey (and her husband Howard), Brian Potter (and his girlfriend Christina), and Michael Potter (and his wife Shannon) and 8 beautiful Grandchildren, John, Haylee, Zoe, Kristen, Hannah, Jacob, Noah & Erik. He is preceded in death by Parents Donald & Ada Potter, Daughter; Candy Wallace, Brother Marcus Potter and Sister; Nola White.
