Patrick Efird

Patrick Efird passed away in Plano Texas on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. at the age of 75.  Patrick was born on October 26, 1947 in McKinney to his late parents A. A. and Blreno(Beam) Efird.  Patrick went to school in McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School.  He then began his career in law enforcement.  Patrick served at the Plano Police Department, McKinney Police Department and the Collin County Sheriff office and District Attorney's office.

He is survived by his children, Kristin Allen, Benjamin Efird and Jeb Efird; sister-in-law, Pat Efird, 3 grandchildren and many Brothers in the Blue.  He is also preceded in death by parents A. A. Potts and Rena Efird and brother, Mike Efird.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 A. M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Wylie.
