Patsy Ruth Thornton, 77 years 3 months 1 day, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, 12, 2021 surrounded by her family.  Patsy was born in the small town of Paducah, Texas on March 11, 1944.  Her parents were the late Hubert Burns and Ruby (Nesbit) Burns.  She married Gary Thornton on March 30, 1961 in Petersburg and together they raised 4 children.  Patsy was a member of the Church of Christ faith.

Surviving Patsy is her husband of 60 years, Gary Thornton of Princeton; children, Robbie Worth of Princeton, Kellie Jones also of Princeton, James Thornton of Quinlan and Eric Olmsted of Kilgore.  She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren to remember their grandmother's memory.
