Paul Joseph Reid, 57, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 11, 2017.  Paul was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 3, 1959 to parents Paul Hunt Reid and Agnes Elizabeth Fellows Reid.

Paul shared his love of the Lord by becoming a Missionary and spreading the Lord's word.  During this time he met and married Lucia Lazo on March 22, 1986.  Together they raised 3 daughters, Rebecca, Rachel and Sarah. Paul was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Paul attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lucas.

Paul is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lucia Reid of Wylie; daughters, Rebecca Reid Legg and husband Chris of Watauga, Texas, Rachel Reid of Wylie and Sarah Reid of Wylie; Mother, Agnes Elizabeth Reid of Seattle, Washington; sister, Nancy Mitchell and husband Robert of Seattle, Washington and brother, David Reid of Dallas, Texas. Paul is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Austin Legg, Addison Legg and Skylar Sauceda.  Paul was preceded in death by his Father, Paul Hunt Reid.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  A celebration of Paul's life will be held at the Cornerstone Baptist Church on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.  Brother Jim Everidge and Brother Darrell Edwards will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Lakeview Cemetery in Lavon, Texas.
