Peggy Knox, 80, recently of Greenville, Texas formerly from Wylie, passed away peacefully at the Hunt County Regional Hospital on January 26, 2017. Peggy was born in Murphy, Texas on February 2, 1936 to her late parents, Fred Maurice Stone and Jessie Woodrow (McKinney) Stone.

Peggy retired after 18 years as the Park Manager of Glenn Knoll Mobile Home Park.  Peggy worked hard and she often said that was why she couldn't retire, she just liked working. Over the last year Peggy's health had started to deteriorate.

Surviving Peggy are her children, Morgan Richard Shelton, Jr. and wife Gloria of Whitewright, Texas, Terry Turner and husband Ky of Greenville, Texas and Brett Alan Knox and wife Lisa of Princeton, Texas.  She is also survived by 3 sisters, Billie, Bobbie and Jackie, her 3 grandchildren; Lyndsay and husband Javier, Daniel and Garett, and 1 great grandson, Kyle.  Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and son, Fred Maurice Shelton.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. A. L. Draper will officiate.
