Peter Papia, age 70, of Wylie Tx passed away February 18, 2024.  He is preceded in death by his father Salvator Papia, mother Vivian Papia, brothers Salvatore Papia and Joseph Papia, Sister Stephanie Dysland.  He will lovingly be remembered by his sons: Joshua Papia, Jacob Papia and Peter Papia, siblings: Caroline (Patrick) Tice, Cheryl (Tim) McDonell, John Papia, Tony Papia, Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren.

Peter was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He went to Pulaski High School, joined the U.S. Army, and later worked on the Milwaukee Railroad.  His true calling was working as a chef- being trained by Aunt Sally who owned Sally's Steak House.  He later moved to Dallas, TX where he worked as a chef for over 20yrs at the Adolphus Hotel.  He was a fantastic Chef!

Peter will be cremated and laid to rest at Dallas -Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas on Tuesday, March 12th @ 11:15am.
