Peter Charles Robertstad, 43, of Forney, TX, passed away January 19, 2021. He was born in Dallas, TX on June 5, 1977. Peter attended high school at Lakewood Presbyterian School and received a Bachelor's degree from Belhaven University.

He married Julie Robertstad on June 27, 2009. He was a devoted husband and father to his daughter Riley (9) and son Jack (5). Pete spent his career teaching and working in the pool business. He volunteered countless hours coaching basketball to generations of young men and women at his alma mater, Lakewood Presbyterian.

Pete was rooted by his calm demeanor and had a knack for a timely quip. He enjoyed vigorous experiences such as canoeing and hiking as well as relaxed activities like hosting BBQs and watching his beloved Dallas Mavericks. He dedicated weekends to taking his children camping and visiting family. He was a faithful believer in his Lord Jesus.

Pete is survived by his wife Julie Robertstad; children Riley and Jack; father Arnie Robertstad; brothers Samuel (Stephanie),John (Rachel), and Thomas; sisters Janice Gilbert (Eric), Lauren Vaught (Chris), and Karen Bibby (Sean); nephews Preston Robertstad, Henry Robertstad, Luke Gilbert, and Charles Bibby; nieces Bailey Robertstad, Chloe and Sarah Gilbert, and Claire Robertstad; he is preceded in death by his mother Edith Robertstad.
