Rachel Campos Cisneros March 12,1948 - September 12, 2026

Rachel Cisneros of Wylie, Texas passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026 surrounded by loving family.

Rachel was born on March 12, 1948 in Gulf, Texas to Marcos Sr and Hortencia Campos. Where she and siblings were raised. Rachel was the oldest of six siblings. Rachel lived in El Campo till 1981 when her and Emil and their four children moved to Wylie. Where she lived the rest of her life with one of her daughters.

Rachel worked at Chapmans Restaurant till she started working for the Allen School District as a custodian. She loved helping out the staff and students when they needed her. THe teachers, staff and students loved Racheal. The students would draw pictures and give them to her.

Rachel loved music, dancing, watching and playing sports. Racheal was on a coed softball team, a bowling league and played tennis. One of her favorite past times was watching the Texas Rangers play ball. She was rooting for them till her last days.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marcos Campos Sr. and Hortencia Campos, her two sisters Mary Helen Campos and Delia Campos Guevara and nephew Christopher Campos.

She is survived by her four children Emil Cisneros Jr., Marcus CIsneros, Anita Cisneros Hancock and son in law John T. Hancock and Veronica Cisneros Thompson and John "Kenny" Thompson. Sister Linda Campos Dickey and two brothers Joe Campos and Marcos Campos Jr. Grandchildren are McKenzi Thompson, Freddie "Bambam" Cantu, Colton Howell and granddaughter in law Samantha Howell, Jacob Stevens, Alexandra Adkins and Connor Cisneros and granddaughter in law Kaitlyn Cisneros. Great grandchildren Bellany, Hazel, Kalani, Gage, Brekley and Bentley. Plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

Racheal will be missed but not forgotten by the love, laughter and kindness that she shared, and will remain with her family and friends for generations to come.

Memorial services will be held on September 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Elevate Church, 701 E. 544, Murphy, Texas 75094
