Rita (Davis) Hestand was born on Sunday, October 06, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Her parents are the late Robert W. Davis and Nancy May (George) Hestand.  Rita was a talented individual and was a determined author which her family always was so proud of.  She had married Donald Eugen Hestand who preceded her in death.  Together they built a home and raised two daughters.

Left to remember this remarkable person are her daughters, Nancy J. Carpenter of Princeton and Mariane Dillard of Wylie.  Her living legacy are her family especially the 7 grandchildren  and 8 great-grandchildren.  Her parents and husband had preceded her in death.

A Memorial Service is being held at the Collin County Cowboy Church, 2800 FM 3364, Princeton, Texas 75407.  The family will greet guest prior to the service beginning at 4:00 P.M.
