Robert Allen Ott age 70, passed away on January 12, 2025 in Frisco, Texas

In 1954, Robert was born to Howard and Patti in Grand Prairie and spent most of his childhood in and around the Dallas area.

Throughout his life, Robert would show off his multitude of talents as an electrician, plumber, carpenter, mechanic, computer programmer, and network engineer. Among his most cherished times were when he would spend time on the road dismantling stores with his family.

Robert loved to spend what little free time he had hunting, fishing, playing poker, and building furniture in his garage. He also loved to watch football and begrudgingly rode the rollercoaster that comes with being a Dallas Cowboys fan.

In 1974, he married the love of his life, Joyce. They were true to their vows through the better and through the worse. Together, they raised three sons and remained inseparable until she was called home in 1999.

Later in life, Robert fully dedicated his life to his grandkids and continued to be a great and dependable father, supporter, and mentor to his sons and close family.

Robert has been called home for his long awaited reunion with his loving wife Joyce.

Others welcoming him into heaven include his father Howard; brothers Jerry and Michael; and nephews Brian and Jay.

Among Robert's loved ones who await God's calling are his mother Patti Morris; sisters Rhonda with husband Roland and Renee with husband Terry; brothers Richard with wife Darla, Reggie, Jerrell, Jason, and John; sons Jimmie with wife Wally, Eddy Ray with wife Tanya, and Julio; grandkids Wayne, Katelyn, Ryan, Christian, Mikey, Jeremy, and April...along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
