Robert Lynn Vick was born on July 14, 1949 to William D. and Pauline Vick in Wichita Falls, Texas.  At the time of his birth he had 2 brothers Gary Vick and Larry Vick as well as a beautiful sister Sharon Thompson.  Robert loved his family more than anything.

Robert joined the US. Marines at 17 years old.  He went on to serve in the Vietnam War.  During this time he had 2 sons, Shawn Vick and Michael Dain Vick in 1972 Robert married Shirley Morrow.  She already had 3 children Salina Yarbrough, Charlotte Rash and Kevin Mathews.  Robert raised these children as his own.  Robert is preceded in death by his and Shirley's son Robert Lee (Bear) Vick.  Robert was a true patriot after the war Robert joined the US Air Force.

After the graveside there will be a reception at the Baptist Church with coffee, tea and cookies for anyone who would like to attend.
