Robert Earl Williams, 90, passed away on January 16, 2023 in Rowlett, Texas knowing how much he was loved by all his family. He was born on March 17, 1932 in Hamilton, Texas to the late William Joseph Williams, Sr. and Geneva (Hyles) Williams.

Robert was 1 of 11 children , 6 boys and 5 girls. He had a twin sister Roberta Merle Brewer who had preceded him in death.Robert was in the United States Army and served during the Korea War and was Honorably Discharged, On September 28, 1956 he married his sweetheart, Patsy Ann Welch.  Patsy proceeded him death in 1990. They built a life together and had 2 children daughter Carolyn Rawlings and son Gary Williams.

Robert is proceeded in death by his parents, his wife,brothers John Paul and William "Dub" Dale: sisters, Mary Ross, Jo Miller and Roberta Brewer.

Robert is survived by 1 brother Gene Williams of Frisco: 2 sisters,Dixie Stewart of Pilot Point and Betty Williams of Dallas; daughter Carolyn Rawlings of Dallas and son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Astrid Williams of Conroe.  He was known as Papaw to his grandchildren Wendy and John Ledly, Jason Rawlings,Sharee and Tony Racino, Joshua and Kailey Rawlings: great grandchildren Aubri, Austin, Ethan, Nathan, Layla, Rylee, Avery, and Kinley.  He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is Friday, January 20, 2023 from 12:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Robert's funeral will also be at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1:30 P.M.  Robert will then be laid to rest with Military Honors at the Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas after his funeral.
