On Tuesday August 13, 2019 at 4:51 a.m. Ronald  Chandler Lewis,  loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 83, with his family by his side.

Ronald was born on March 29,1936 in Canby, Oregon.  He married his love  Margaret (Peggy) Robinson June 03, 1966 and they raised 4 children, Lureen,  Jennifer, Marc and Carolina.

Ronald, also known as Lew, as a military veteran served 4 years in the US Navy and 18 years in the US Army having served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, his old time country music, small engine repairs, traveling, making people laugh, but most of all being at home with his family.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father mother and brother. He is survived by his wife Peggy, his children Lureen Cathey, Jennifer Adkins, Marc Lewis and Carolina Gossett, his sister Janice Whiteman, his 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his Life is planned for August 16, 2019 in Wylie, TX.

After his cremation he will be interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
