Ronald Fuentes Martinez, 66, lifetime resident of Wylie passed away at his home on Thursday April 28, 2022.  He was born in Dallas on Thursday May 19, 1955.  His parents are Henry and Elida (Fuentes) Martinez of Wylie.  Ronald was raised in Wylie, 1 of 6 children and graduated from Wylie High School.  Ronald joined the United States Army.  After his honorable discharge from the Army, Ronald went to work in the construction business pouring concrete. He worked in the concrete portion of construction until he retired.

Surviving Ronald are his parents, Henry and Elida Martinez of Wylie;brothers all of Wylie, Eugene Martinez, Marcos Martinez, and Robert Martinez; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and James Price also of Wylie and son, Joey Martinez; numerous other family members including nephews, nieces and cousins.  Ronald was preceded in death by his brother Ernesto Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M.  Both will be conducted at Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be conducted on Wednesday May 4, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Tony Densmore officiating.  Ronald will be laid to rest in the St. Paul Cemetery.
