Ronald "Ray" Miller passed away at his home in Wylie, Texas on November 5, 2021 at the age of 76 years old.  He was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on November 2, 1945 to Dale and Azile Miller.

He lived most of his life in the McAlester area.  He graduated from McAlester High School in 1964 and Eastern Oklahoma State College in 1977.  He and his wife Lahoma were married in Sherman, Texas in 1972.  He was a Vietnam War Veteran and later served in the Gulf War, Desert Storm with the 445 ^th Military Police.  He retired in 2005 from the Oklahoma Air National Guard.  He worked for 18 years at Dolese and retired from Boeing (Spirit) in 2008.

In 2010, he and his wife relocated to North Texas to be near their children and grandchildren.   He enjoyed wood working, collecting antiques, and restoring and working on vehicles.  He loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dale and Azile Miller and mother and father-in-law Ed and Ollie Davidson.  He is survived by his wife Lahoma of the Wylie and brother and sister-in-law Dale and Lyla Miller of Oklahoma City. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tanya (Miller) Alosi and husband Christopher, Lora (Miller) Smith and husband Kevin.  He had 7 grand children:  Kyle, Kristen, and Taryn Alosi, Taylor, Ryan, Aaron, and Kaitlynn Smith, and one great grand child Kira Alosi, all of Wylie, Texas. He is also survived by special family members:  Jim and Mary Davidson, Frances Grivette, Laverne Holloway, Wilma Davidson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial arrangements are being handled at Allen Funeral Home in Wylie, Texas.  A graveside service will be held on November 17 ^th at 10:15 am  at the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) National Veteran's Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, in Dallas, TX.
