Ruby Ann Coppinger, 85, of Wylie passed away in Wylie on Monday, February 19, 2018 after a lengthy illness.  Ruby was born in Rockwall County on September 8, 1932 to her late parents, James Henry and Effie Evelyn (Turner) Renfro. Ruby grew up in the Wylie area where she met and married Billy Wayne Coppinger on February 22, 1952 in Wylie.  Ruby was a homemaker, staying home to raise her children, She was a member of the Grace Country Bible Church in McKinney, Texas.

Ruby is survived by her children, son, Jimmy Coppinger of Wylie; daughters, Debbie Cooper and husband Mark of Wylie and Mary Haas and husband Rick of Allen, and 4 grandchildren.  Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, James and Effie Renfro, husband, Billy Coppinger and son, Keith Coppinger.

Visitation is Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  Ruby's funeral service is Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Victor Vaughn officiating.  Ruby will be laid to rest at the Wylie Cemetery next to her husband.
