Ruth Ann Coomer, 62, died April 3, 2021 at her home in Fort Worth.

Ann (known as shoog to some) was born on August 23, 1958 in Wylie,Texas to John Coomer and Judy Owens. She grew up in Wylie and attended Wylie High School. She worked for many years at Cavender's where she made a great deal of acquaintances and lifelong friends alike.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, antiquing at Canton, and helping others. She had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She had an open door policy in her home and all were welcome. She was always good for a laugh and her 'shoog-isms' will be one of the things most missed about her.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Judy. She is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; her brother, EJ and his wife Buffy and their children, Hattie and Levi, 2 Aunts, Beth and Vickie and her daughter Sterling, who was her absolute pride and joy.

And she will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved her, but we are overjoyed that her body is whole once again.

A memorial service is to be held at the Hidden Jewel (7611 Clay Dr., Blue Ridge, TX 75424) Thursday, April 8 at 2 PM.

The family request in lieu of flowers  a donation in Ann's name and memory be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of their choice.
