Sandra K. Close, 75, of Ft. Worth, Texas went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.  Sandra was born on Tuesday, August 26, 1941 in Vernon, Texas.  She was the daughter of the late Buck and Bessie (Thomas) Close.

Sandra worked at Mouser Electronics as a Customer Service Representative.  According to her family, customers would call in and ask to speak to her because they enjoyed hearing her Southern drawl. Sandra loved the Lord, her family, and her friends.  She brought joy and happiness to the people she met and will forever be remembered for the love she brought to those around her.

Sandra is survived by her four sons and their wives; Kevin and Lanna Close of Alvarado, Texas, Larry and Cheryl Close of Westminster, Colorado; Jerry and Lori Close of Moses Lake, Washington, and Darryl and Melinda Close of Sachse, Texas.  Sandra had one brother, Roger Evans, of Eastland, Texas and one adopted sister, Beverly Bosher of Scurry, Texas. Sandra's legacy also included 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.

A Life Celebration event for Sandra will be held August 20, 2017, at Campo Verde Mexican Restaurant, 2918 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, TX, at 2pm.
