Sanford Lee Tucker, 91, passed away peacefully in Plano, Texas on Sunday, September 16, 2018.  San was born on Friday, February 4, 1927 in Sledge, Mississippi to his late parents, Alvin and Myrtle (Morgan) Tucker.  He joined the US Navy during World War II and saw action in Pacific.  San was a member of the Wylie Assembly of God Church and had been a pipeline welder before retiring.

San is survived by his daughter, Leigh Alane Ellis and husband, Bobby, son, Thomas Tucker; granddaughter, Elizabeth Amann and husband, Jeremy; their children, Daphne and Sophia Amann; grandson, Ashley Tucker and grandson, Brandon; several nieces and nephews.  San was preceded in death by his father and mother, his wife, Jean Maxine Tucker, brother, Kenneth Tucker and grandson, Cameron Ellis.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Allen Funeral Home.  His funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Kerry Sampson will officiate.  San will be laid to rest next to Jean in the Wylie Cemetery.
