Sharon Shields, 70, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 21, 2018.  Sharon was born in Dallas, Texas on September 10, 1947 to her late parents, Charles Edward Fain and Edith Fae Martin Fain.

Sharon married Dwight Owen Shields on June 18, 1965 in Dallas, Texas.  Sharon worked for many years with the Garland Independent School District in Food Services.

Surviving Sharon is her husband of 52 years, Dwight Shields of Garland; children, Dawn Harris and husband Jeff of Garland, Jonathan Owen Shields and wife Tonya of Mesquite, and David Paul Shields and wife Amie of Forney; 6 Grandchilden; sister, Beverly Gothard husband Bobby of Wylie and 11 nieces and nephews.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Vicki Harrah and brothers, William Ray Fain and Denny M. Fain.

A memorial service for Sharon is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the Allen Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. A. L. Draper will officiate.
